Starting a Coffee Plantation

We have just finished planting around 2,000 Arabica coffee trees which we purchased last June. Since we all do things by ourselves privately then we take also the responsibility of seeking advice from friends having experience in coffee farming.

Seedlings coming from La Trinidad

We are new in this field so we are eager to send our farm assistants to attend seminars whenever opportunities open for it like this coffee forum held in Sagada recently.

Our newly planted arabica coffee trees. (Status of plants as of July 2015 – these were planted last February 2015)

As we do not have much knowledge about coffee growing we appreciate that we were invited to visit the demo farm. It will be our lady farm assistants who we will be in charge of this coffee project.

They returned to the farm very much inspired by what they have seen in Sagada so now – – – it will be work and more work till we reach the finish line.
